April Writer Support Giveaway 🌈
We are giving three LGBTQIA+ authors the chance to win:
- A professional edit of a short story/novelette (up to 15,000 words) by Charlie Knight.
- Free support with setting up a basic Carrd, Ko-Fi or Patreon page or Discord.
- Promotion of your work through our starter packs and posts on social media.
How To Enter:
- Reply to our BlueSky post with a bit about your planned story, make sure to include "!Enter" (without quotes) in your reply.
- Entries must be received by Wednesday 30th April 11am UTC. Entries after this date will not be counted..
Terms
- Prize is non transferrable and cannot be exchanged for any other prize.
- Maximum one entry per person.
- Entrants must not use GenerativeAI for drafting, writing, editing or generating illustrations, covers, logos or marketing material. Accessibility tools are permitted.
- Your writing must be ready for initial edit by the end of May 2025.
- Website support work must be scheduled before end of June 2025.
- Editing and website support is subject to content acceptance by the chosen provider. If the content is deemed unsuitable by the prize providers, the prize may be withdrawn and offered to another entrant after discussion. Some examples of content that we will not support (note that this list is not exhaustive and other content may be determined to be unsuitable after review):
- Content that would be deemed illegal in the UK.
- Content that promotes or endorses real world hate or discrimination.
- Content that depicts, endorses, or promotes paedophilia or other inappropriate sexual activity between minors.
Violation of the terms may result in the prize being cancelled and re-awarded to another entrant in addition to being barred from future opportunities, giveaways and competitions provided by Rainbow Revelry. If it is discovered terms were violated at a later date this may result being barred from future opportunities, giveaways and competitions provided by Rainbow Revelry.
